Several generations are now meeting in the workplace. A generation is made up of people that share similar sociological, cultural and behavioral criteria. We find:

  • The Baby Boomers, usually born between 1942 and 1960
  • The X's, usually born between 1960 and 1980
  • The Y's or Millennials, usually born between 1980 and 1995
  • The Z's, usually born after 1995

The dates just give an indication: a person can perfectly think like a certain generation without having been born in the corresponding period.
